Popular "Miss Manners" Column to Increase in Frequency
August 11th, 2017, Kansas City, MO: Andrews McMeel is
excited to announce the “Miss Manners” feature by Judith Martin will increase
from three columns per week to six columns per week. The first series of
columns will be released the week of September 4-9. There will be a new byline
that includes all contributors to the column and will read as follows: MISS
MANNERS by Judith Martin, Nicholas Ivor Martin and Jacobina Martin.
“Miss Manners” is syndicated throughout more than 200
newspapers nationwide, and Martin is the 2016 recipient of the National
Humanities Medal, in recognition of her contributions to society as America’s
foremost etiquette columnist and author. The column is unique among other
advice columns in its use of a witty and distinctive voice, while still
maintaining civility. Hailed by The New York Times as “an impassioned plea for
a return to civilized behavior”, the “Miss Manners” column will delight fans in
serving twice as much advice.
