Mark Parisi's funny "Off the Mark" comic panel has been syndicated since 1987. In 2025, Mark won the National Cartoonists Society's prestigious Reuben Award for Outstanding Cartoonist of the Year. Parisi also won Best Newspaper Panel in 2020, 2017, 2011, and 2008. In addition, he's won awards for his work in greeting cards. There are many book compilations of his cartoons, plus he writes and illustrates children's books for HarperCollins, including the Marty Pants series and The Truth About 5th Grade. Some other notable clients have been Billboard, Topps, the (Dixie) Chicks, Procter & Gamble, Del Monte, the National Enquirer, Parade, Snausages, "Weird" Al, and many more. Mark lives in New England, despite the winters.
