Henry Payne creates sharply drawn editorial cartoons for Andrews McMeel from a conservative viewpoint. Called "the Thomas Nast of his time" by The National Review magazine, Payne has been a runner-up for the Pulitzer Prize in cartooning. He is also an award-winning auto columnist for The Detroit News, hosts “the Auto Report” for 910AM Detroit, and has illustrated several books.
