Meet the Cast of Tarzan

Tarzan known as the "Lord of the Jungle," is the son of British nobility who were marooned on the coast of Africa when he was a child. When his parents died, he was adopted by the great apes, who taught him to leap, climb trees and swing on vines at tremendous speed. Although he eventually discovered his true identity as the Englishman Earl Greystoke, he preferred to live in the wild as an adventurer and defender of nature, vulnerable tribes, wildlife and many others. He has a strong sense of justice, and frequently intervenes on behalf of those who can't defend themselves, often at great peril.
Jane Porter (Lady Greystroke) is Tarzan's wife, who was also marooned in the same spot where Tarzan's family was 20 years earlier. Over time and thanks to the companionship and protection of Tarzan, she grew more at home in the African jungle and became Tarzan's wife.
Paul D'Arnot is Tarzan's friend and a member of the French Navy. D'Arnot teaches Tarzan French and English and looks after his and Jane's interests, accompanying them on several adventures.
The Mangani is the name of the great ape tribe that adopted Tarzan after his parents died. They are swift, powerful and quick to deal out justice to any enemies who threaten Tarzan's friends or seek to destroy their native habitat. They speak their own language with each other, in which Tarzan is fluent.
