"Dear Tiny..."

So begins each episode of Tiny Sepuku, the world's number one advice cartoon. Begun in 1997 as a parody of Hello Kitty, by 1999 it had evolved into a full-fledged alt-paper syndicated feature. Creator Ken Cursue credits the strip's enthusiastic fans with its success - it is their letters seeking advice and counsel, often on matters of the heart, that inspire his sometimes-whimsical, sometimes-cynical, always surprising strips. Ask a lovelorn question, get a heartfelt, hilarious answer.

Ken Cursoe

Ken Cursoe lives on the Pacific coast and isn't sure if he's the author of this strip or if Tiny is. Either way, he feels lucky to be associated with the cartoon he's been drawing since 1997. Created as a parody of Hello Kitty for a small monthly publication, Tiny Sepuku launched a new, more cynical approach to relationships a year later, and thus the cartoon advice column was born.

Meet the Cast of Tiny Sepuku

Tiny Sepuku is a wonderful mix of cute art and disastrous romantic advice. Well, not all the advice is terrible, but the clueless cast of characters has a tendency to get things ever so slightly wrong when it comes to love. If you're a romantic at heart, an anti-romantic, or just someone who's ever stepped into the shark-infested waters of the dating world, you're going to love this strip.
